Imagine a greener and more water-resilient city, where rainwater restores local streams, cools neighborhoods, and strengthens urban ecosystems.

In Madrid, rapid urban development and climate change are putting increasing pressure on local water systems. Streams are drying out, rainwater is quickly lost through drainage infrastructure, and extreme weather events are becoming more common. As a result, valuable rainwater that could help restore local ecosystems is often treated as waste rather than a resource.

At the same time, companies face growing expectations to manage water responsibly, deliver measurable impact, and meet sustainability and water stewardship targets.

The Rain2River project demonstrates how one solution can address urban water challenges while helping companies achieve their water-positive goals, creating shared benefits for cities, communities, and corporate partners.

Project highlights

200,000 m³/year

We capture and treat 200,000 m³ of rainwater each year, replenishing streams, preventing flooding, and creating greener, more comfortable urban spaces.
